A powerful energising and revitalising massage that is also deeply relaxing for the whole body. Thai foot massage involves work along the energy lines (sen) of the lower legs, and reflex points of the feet to balance and harmonise the flow of energy around the body. Reflex points and energy channels are generally massaged and stretched to encourage the free flow of energy whilst stimulating healing of the internal organs. Stimulating the internal organs and the energy lines is helps to facilitate the body’s normal functions so the body remains healthy. Your therapist will use their body weight and a Thai foot massage stick to apply varied pressure along these points to bring you to a powerful state of relaxation (sabai). In the longer versions of this treatment, you will be treated to a detoxifying sea salt scrub and a warm comforting foot compress.
